CASTLE GALA DALÍ IN PÚBOL

The castle that Salvador Dalí decorated, and gave to his wife Gala at the end of his life, allows the visitor to experience how the couple lived. It contains a collection of haute couture costumes worn byGala - who is buried in the crypt of the castle - and a garden with sculptures by the artist.

DALÍ MUSEUM-THEATRE

Dalí conceived of this museum for his work as a total work of art: a personal and unique world in which the visitor can immerse himself/herself. Inaugurated in 1974, it was built on the remains of the old theatre of Figueras and contains the widest range of works representing the artistic career of Salvador Dalí

CASA-MUSEO SALVADOR DALÍ IN PORTLLIGAT

This was Salvador Dalí’s main house, where he lived and worked, and reveals Dalí’s intimate character.

In 1930 Dalí settled here, attracted by the landscape and light. He enlarged the house over 40 years, and was visited there by artists and intellectuals such as Marcel Duchamp, Max Ernst and Paul Elouard.

 

SANT PERE DE RODES

The impressive monastery of Sant Pere de Rodes, a UNESCO heritage site, is an important vestige of Catalan Romanesque architecture. A must-see on the way to Cadaqués

 

GREEK AND ROMAN ANCIENT IN EMPÚRIES

Empúries is the only archaeological site in the Iberian Peninsula where the remains of a Greek city Emporion coexist with those of a Roman city, Emporiae. It is also the gateway to classical culture: ten centuries of history that transformed the ancient Iberian community that lived there. Between the 6th centuries B.C. and V d.C. Empúries was a port, commercial enclave, western colony of Greece, the first Roman camp of the Peninsula, a thriving Roman city ... You can visit the Greek ruins of the Hellenistic period, the museum and the beautiful town of Sant Martí de Empúries.

 

VISIT GIRONA

City with special charm, known for its medieval architecture, has the cathedral with the widest Gothic nave in the world, the Romanesque tapestry of Creation, of the XI. The Jewish quarter, the Arabian baths.
